no hard feelings ok vox? i already had the wordpress blog when I got your invite anyway. its not like i left you for wordpress. but then the wordpress blog being such that it was hosted on my site with teh crappy hosting company with the crappy backup plan which is no backup plan at all blew the whole thing up.
So anyway I'm back. and probably only even temporary even so don't get all clingy either.
but i was reading over some of my old vox posts and you know what? i really cant spell for fuck. here I am LOLing at these horrendeous emails or letters from lindsey lohan and then I look at my shit? I could probably learn a few sentence structure tips from that gal.
anyway that wasnt really what i was going to say i was going to mention that i actually got a few good LOL's from some of my old vox blog posts. so there you go. and that story about the guy who keeps hearing construction sounds when he is trying to sleep? STILL SCARY! a real chiller.
anyway do your self a favor and go reread all my old posts. you will thank us both.
in other more sadder news... my fucking real blog is GONE..really totally gone. you can goolge 'little animals' and maybe find some old classis that way but more or less its gone for good. remember whne the library at alexendria burned? its alot like that. only nothing here is written in hiroglyphs!
so im back vox. does anyone else still post here to vox?
hello? hello?
whats the deal with that? Is that something I could do with RSS? which i do not understand? can someone tell me how to do this?
HELLLLLLO?
QoTD: What makes darkpony so wonderful?
subquestions: If you were forced to choose just one, which of darkponys humorous catchphrases would you say makes you LOL the MOST?
1. "I'm not karate kidding around this time!"
2. "DONUT make me come over there."
3. "wooba gooba with the green teeth? I hardly even knew her!"
metacatchphrase(taken from the cover interview at 'what important/beautiful people are saying and doing this week'): "I don't think of them as slang or really as sayings. I like to think of them as slayings because they really kill!"
now I am getting spammed by Vox. I wonder if there is a way to turn off the you have a new friend info that gets sent to my email address every time. Couldn't find it in the Knowledgebase.
So far this looks really fun but I can see it being a real big time sink and sort of an obligation in some ways. Like another site I belong to where you comment on other peoples stuff I often feel guilty when I'm not commenting/contributing enough. With a straight up blog its just 'aw, who cares.' This already feels more community like and therefore like I have more responsibilities.
Should I give up on my non Vox Blog? Can I crosspost to both?
And then theres the point that I really don't need MORE stuff to read during the workday, but if I have it I will read it. ALL OF IT. Like last week when I read that whole long story about the woman and her sockpuppets who clawed her way from obscurity to the top of the harrypotter fan/slash fiction community. WHY? WHY?
I like the tie in with flickr but one thing that Vox is lacking is a way to connect with my Animal crossing town which really just about all web 2.0 apps do nowadays. How could they have left this one out? I really need to send mallary a note about that blue diamond top she has been looking for.
OH, and seriously....why not change PHOTOS to IMAGES? please? or is this going to be like flickr and ban illustrations?
This is my very first post to the vox blogging system. I went around and put a bunch of people I know into my neighborhoodbut did not make them 'friends' or 'family' now I'm wondering if i should have. Or is that too forward?
WE SHALL SEE!
This sure looks pretty though. except for the two triangle noses on the vox people. those noses are DISTURBING.
